Youth Program Volunteer
Youth Program Volunteers provide a safe and fun environment for youth at our evening drop in youth programming (grade 6-12). Drop in programming takes place at the Whitecourt Legion on Wednesdays and Just Peachy Arts & Crafts on Thursdays.
Provide supervision during evening drop in programming. Be a positive role model for youth in our community. Share your wisdom, connect, play games, craft, and hang out with youth.
Volunteering with youth is a powerful way of lending support to young people by teaching skills, listening to their perspectives and creating a sense of belonging. Volunteers play an important role in helping support youth in our community to reach their full potential. This position also provides a meaningful experience for volunteers while enhancing communication and problem solving skills.
