In School Mentor
Mentors provide a positive environment for the development of a one to one relationship between an adult volunteer and a school-aged student (Grade 1-8).
Spend time one on one with your mentee once per week during school hours doing child led activities such as board games, arts and crafts, building, painting, and more.
Mentoring is a powerful way of lending support to a young person by teaching skills, listening to their perspectives and creating a sense of belonging. Mentors play an important role in helping support youth in our community to reach their full potential. This position also provides a meaningful experience for mentors while enhancing communication and problem solving skills.
