Branch Executive Committees
APEGA is seeking applications for professional members and members-in-training to serve as volunteers on APEGA’s Yellowhead Branch Executive Committee. These member-driven committees function as a conduit between APEGA’s Council, staff and the membership. Not only is it a great way to get a better understanding of APEGA’s role and regulatory responsibilities, it’s also fun! From locally-relevant workshops and lectures, to running engagement events like golf tournaments, participating on your local branch is a great way to get to know other professionals in your region and expand your network.
Meet monthly to plan local events for APEGA members and the general public, such as Science Nights, workshops, golf tournaments, and networking. Meetings are virtual. Serve as a voice of the membership to the association. Promote engineering and geoscience professions in the local community.
Expand your professional network, give back to the community, participate in self-regulation of engineering and geoscience professions.
